TUXEDO (1903)
Tim Daly, ‘Daly’s Bartenders’ Encyclopedia’ (1903). This is the earliest recorded version of a Tuxedo in a cocktail book and the original calls for Maple Gin. This version uses maple syrup and Plymouth Gin instead, and is an elegant Martinez alternative.
